The main story of Sweet Tooth:
The “Great Crash” ten years ago turns the world upside down, leading to the emergence of “hybrids” in a mysterious form. Babies are born half human, half animal. Uncertain whether the hybrids are the result or the cause of the virus, many people become anxious and hunt them down.
Living faithfully in a secluded forest residence for ten years, a mulatto deer-boy named Gus (Christian Convery) unexpectedly befriends a solitary traveler named Jepperd (Nonso Anozie). The duo embark on a wonderful adventure in what’s left of America, seeking answers to questions about Gus’ origins, Jepperd’s past, and the true meaning of home. But their tale is full of unexpected allies and enemies. Gus soon learns that the lush and dangerous world outside the forest is more complex than he could have imagined.
